He just asked me who Kinsey was.

"A Doctor from awhile back."

"Oh. Okay."
It's that time, of course, on top of the constant pain of all of this ovarian cyst crap, which is all ready on top of the chronic pain in my back and right flank area from complications with my pregnancy.

I'm just at my limit with pain. I'm freaking out about money, and feeling awful, and so stressed, and I know I am a very blessed person and I am truly grateful, but I miss my Mommy, I'm terrified of losing my Dad, I feel bad for my Husband because he's married to such a Hot Mess. but I love him so much, and he loves me. Drew's amazing, and I just want to be the best Mom I can be for him, but the pain makes it hard. It makes me crabby and depressed, and I wish I could be healthy again, or that at least the Doctors would treat my pain, because I just feel at my limit.Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-41449656136463027612013-02-04T10:32:00.001-08:002013-02-04T10:32:14.239-08:00Chilling.Watching Ricki Lake with my Sis-In-Law and my Dad. It's a lazy, but entertaining day. lol. I'm entering contests galore. One of my new years resolutions was to get back into contesting in a big way. Here's hoping it happens! I am so excited, so far I have won two books! Can't wait to see what else comes in. I sure love my life, just wish my body would catch up to my overall other happiness. Stupid health stuff.Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-80251395068447295612013-01-18T13:47:00.001-08:002013-01-18T13:47:16.221-08:00Oww.Complex Ovarian Cysts are terrible. :(Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-66467158096675799032012-10-01T07:30:00.001-07:002012-10-01T07:30:50.295-07:00So, I haven't been around in awhile. My sister is so amazing. I got the cutest pair of jeans at her Vault Denim party and got to hang with some of my favorite ladies in the world.

Not sure if I posted here, I'm going to be playing Ruth in a college production of Pirates of Penzance. I am so beyond excited and honored. What an amazing role. Rehearsal has been so much fun.

It's been great having Peter here. The wedding is coming up quick. I need to get invitations made. Need someone to hire me so I can afford our wedding. Starting to understand why people elope. lol

Seems some of the more negative people in my life have made their own way out. More power to them. I hope they are able to find the light that once was alive in them, and find their way out of the darkness.

Off to see a kids production of The Jungle Book with the family tonight. So glad for the amazing people here I get to see every day.

Dad has surgery on Friday. I leave for Jaye's wedding on Saturday. lol. So that's stressful, but between Peter, Eliot, Sara and my sister they have everything covered so I shouldn't have to worry. Not like I'll be able to afford to call home more then once either. Well, I'd rather be poor and happy then rich and bitter. :)Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-29845405717093748892012-02-03T18:01:00.000-08:002012-02-03T18:01:59.124-08:00Ugh.I feel like such a jerk.

I just got a call from one of my best friends asking if her and one of my other best friends are still bridesmaids.

Omg. How could they even wonder!?! I suck so much. :(

Things are just crazy right now. My dad is no longer driving and has a 70% blockage and I'm freaking out about his surgery and how he's going to get back and forth.

This means I have to get my license. I'm freaking out.

Just had to change the date of the wedding to the 14th, because someone else scheduled our date before we did. *bangs head against wall*

Dealing with some stuff for Drew for school too, and trying desperately to find a job.

Just trying not to drag anyone else down with me. I do this turtle thing and pop back into my shell when I get freaked out about stuff.. and I'm freaked out.

Thank God for Peter. He keeps me mentally stable, I swear.Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-89126532945354441482012-01-20T06:11:00.001-08:002012-01-20T06:11:29.063-08:007 years.Without my Mom. Elsa is 82 years old and for the past 60 years, she's dreamt of a moment that Fellini had already envisaged: the scene in 'La Dolce Vita' at the Fontana di Trevi. The same scene without Anita Ekberg in it, but with Elsa instead. Without Marcello Mastroiani but with that love that took so long to arrive. Fred is a bit younger than Elsa and has always been a good man who did everything he was supposed to do. After losing his wife, he feels disturbed and confused and his daughter decides that it would be best if he moves into a smaller apartment where he ends meeting Elsa. From that moment on, everything changes. Elsa bursts into his life like a whirlwind, determined to teach him that the time he has left to live - be it more or less - is precious and that he should enjoy it as he pleases. Fred surrenders to Elsa's frenzy, to her youth, to her boldness, to her beautiful madness. And this is how Fred learns how to live. When he learns about Elsa's terminal illness, he decides to make her dream come true and takes Elsa to Rome to reenact with her the famous scene at the Fontana di Trevi.

Families were threatened, mercilessly burned from their homes, and in some instances, killed for the small piece of land they owned. This is the story of two men who spend their entire lives feuding over a tragic incident they both witnessed as young boys. George Baker (Randy Travis) is a man who has witnessed the horror of losing his family at the hands of a brutal killer, John Champion. Throughout his life, he must also put up with the humiliation of being thought of as cowardly and spineless, because he can't retaliate in order to keep his family safe from harm. To complicate matters, his daughter Katie is in love with Daniel, the son of his nemesis. A film split into 5 stories (each of which explores a different aspect his past), "Invisible Cities" is a film about loss and one person's attempt to reconcile this loss. The film is a mix of several genres and is at times funny and romantic while also exploring nightmarishly dark areas as well.
My mother is rolling over in her grave and I hope she haunts them all so that they never get another full nights sleep.

I am beyond sick over this.

I just don't understand how they can completely throw what my Mom's feelings would be, because she's dead she doesn't have a voice in this and apparently listening to my sister and I and caring about what we think means nothing to them.

I don't understand why anyone who loved someone would send them to a nursing home to die.

Please, please shoot me in the head first before sending me to a nursing home to die.Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-44287377379712906702011-12-23T20:11:00.000-08:002011-12-23T20:11:30.125-08:00ughWell, the good news is there isn't anything wrong with me except for a bruise or contusion of my rib from when I tripped on the stairs Figured it was nothing But my sister got me a little worried about a punctured lung and since I can't breathe without feeling like I'm getting stabbed below my right breast. Anyway, they sent me home with some modest pain meds and I'm laying here waiting for them and the sleeping pills to kick in so I can sleep, and Peter'll be home eventually, so I'll get some cuddles. Just really didn't want to spend Christmas Eve Eve at the hospital. Too many Holiday's spent at the hospital worrying about one or the other of my parents. Anywho. Glad it was nothing serious. Still need to make cookies tomorrow morning and the pasta dish I've been elected to make for Christmas. ;) I am so excited. My fiance's family is awesome and so welcoming. I sure wish my Mom could be here too though I know her and my soon to be Mother in Law would have really gotten along well. I'm sad for the friendship they never had. Anyway. Going to play computer games and then sleep!Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-12011633559394287142011-12-08T10:44:00.000-08:002011-12-08T10:44:45.321-08:00Apocalypse Pony!Been doing some interesting reading on Facebook today.

I'm a little overwhelmed by how many of my intelligent, resourceful, educated and common-sense filled friends are more or less preparing for an economic apocalypse, a bloody revolution or a zombie plague.

No. Really.

And the more I've been noticing the insanity happening around this country, the more I wonder if I should hop on their wagon, because things are getting scary.

Fire departments are letting houses burn down because the owners didn't pay a fee. That is a perfect representation of the future with privatized-everything. I am terrified.

Everyone seems to be talking about having access to clean water, farmable land and guns. Lots of guns.

I am a pacifist. I really am.

But if it came to war here? I'll learn how to shoot a gun. We're fortunate in that many of our relatives have guns and land, along with friends who I am certain would welcome us. I'm good at the whole kid rearing thing overall and I'm a teacher at heart, and that would be useful for educating the next generation if it comes down to it.

I like to think that we're a long ways off from that place, but sometimes I really wonder. I look at my sons face and wonder how long before things get much worse here. All the signs are there.

I remain faithful, and hopeful, but I think I need to prepare for any possibility in order to protect my family.
What are your thoughts?Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-40960362131649623372011-11-10T21:26:00.001-08:002011-11-10T21:26:33.484-08:00Huh.Just found a lump in my right breast. May be time to set up a docs appt.Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-14570522995286330762011-10-27T09:22:00.000-07:002011-10-27T09:22:07.974-07:00HBO!Ahh man, HBO. You make it so hard when I am poor! They have just released some awesome new merchandise from all of my favorite shows! (Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones and True Blood!) And the best/worst part is that most of the prices are really pretty reasonable. I'm just poor. lol. Oh well.

I'm enjoying my Burt's Bees cleanser that I got through being a Bzzagent. It's awesome, and it's all for sensitive skin, so I would definitely recommend it!

I'm off to Chicago next weekend with two of my best friends. One is auditioning for the Glee Project and I truly think she would be incredible! I haven't road tripped anywhere beyond 150 miles with friends before, so this is going to rock. I seriously cannot wait!!

And even more exciting, one of my dearest friends has asked me to be her Bridesmaid for her upcoming nuptials! I absolutely can't wait. Never thought in my life I would make my way to Haiti, but it's a destination wedding on a cruise, and I am soooo excited.

Oh and then there's Peter and my wedding coming up next September. Craziest busy year ever, but I'm pumped. :)Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-63940486626256528332011-10-18T08:20:00.000-07:002011-10-18T08:20:17.399-07:00Yowch.My back is very angry at me today. Not entirely sure why, I've been resting it pretty well since all of the extremely heavy lifting. Pretty sure something is out of alignment. I need insurance. Wish I was better at filling out forms. For sure I qualify for assistance with medical but I have a panic attack every time I try to fill out their 14 page form. What's weird is I can fill it out for other people no problem, it's only when it relates to me that I freak out. I'm a strange one.

Conferences tonight! Apparently my sons girlfriends teacher talked all about how sweet she and him are together to his girlfriends Mama who's a wonderful friend of mine. Cutest thing ever. They're best friends. I couldn't be happier if that's who he grows up to marry. She's the sweetest little girl and her family is beyond incredible.

Is it lazy to take a nap when your back hurts this much? I'm seriously considering it. I wish I had a heating pad.Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-17770662288382765612011-10-17T18:36:00.000-07:002011-10-17T18:36:26.940-07:00Movies!Finished the garage sale this weekend. Didn't make much but it helps the ends meet.

I'm sore as can be so I've been resting a bit, watching tv. Enjoying the awesome Bert's Bee's sensitive skin products that were sent through BzzAgent. It's just awesome. Helping with the wind chafing.

I type 90 wpm, and have experience in customer service, theatre, retail and working with kids.Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-61884323007534347752011-10-02T16:47:00.000-07:002011-10-02T16:50:22.050-07:00Remembering.Wonderful article about one of my dear friends from Arts High who killed himself our Jr year. I still cry thinking about him. He was such a bright star, and good person. I am so sad to see the bullying that occurs in schools. My son is 7 and has been accused of being a "fag" because he likes to hum and dance. I don't understand why there is so much hate in children. I look back at when I was bullied for being poor and fat in elementary and middle school and I remember wanting to die. It's so terrible that people do this to each other. We need to teach our children love. I just don't understand. So much damage is done. It makes me so sad.

http://www.citypages.com/2011-09-28/news/erik-turbenson-suicide-foreshadowed-gay-taunting-trouble-at-anoka-hennepin/
Misusedinnocencehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03922380336192028337noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685345860383357917.post-87139710815668470172011-09-28T20:32:00.000-07:002011-09-28T20:33:44.120-07:00Sleepy and wishingOh man!
